A book review
Hey guys,
Have you ever found yourself in the labyrinth? The maze runner is one of those that, because of its detailed description, made me feel like I was really in a labyrinth with creepy monsters! Written by James Dashner in 2005, it's sold millions of copies around the world and has been made into a film.
If you ain’t scared, you ain’t human. When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers—boys whose memories are also gone. Nice to meet ya, shank. Welcome to the Glade. Outside the towering stone walls that surround the Glade is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out—and no one’s ever made it through alive. Everything is going to change. Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying.
Remember. Survive. Run.
I won't give away the ending, but I guarantee you'll love it.
What I loved about the book was the plot of the book is exciting, unpredictable, vivid, and memorable. The book kept me in suspense all the time, there were many unforeseen turns of events that made me worry about the characters and feel all the emotions at that moment. I didn't always understand the actions of the main characters, but this didn't spoil my overall enjoyment.
All in all, this book is a real page-turner. I absolutely loved it and I'd definitely recommend it. So if you haven't read it yet, buy it and read as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed.
